Stoneware Mandala
Stoneware is a high-temperature clay, entirely handcrafted on the wheel in Margarites, Rethymno, Crete—a village famous for its traditional ceramic products. After shaping, the piece was kiln-fired at 980°C, then glazed and fired again at 1280°C, creating a compact and highly durable clay mass that resembles stone (stoneware). Once the candle has burned, the container can be thoroughly cleaned and repurposed as a coffee mug or for any other use.
